Cheap insurance for expensive equipment
A strainer is a perforated or mesh screen in a pressure-retaining body. It traps particles carried by the fluid and holds them until the screen is cleaned. Fitting a strainer upstream of pumps, control valves, meters, steam traps and heat exchangers prevents seat damage and blockages that would otherwise cause unplanned shutdowns.
Axegic strainers are made from quality raw materials sourced from trusted vendors, comply with international standards and pass rigid testing before dispatch.
Strainer types
Y type strainer
Compact, in-line; horizontal or vertical-down installation; flanged, welded or threaded ends.
Basket type strainer
Large dirt-holding capacity and low pressure drop for bigger flows.
T type strainer
Fabricated tee body for large bore lines; screen removed through the branch.
Duplex strainer
Twin baskets with change-over so one can be cleaned while the other runs.
Pot type strainer
Vertical pot design for suction and transfer lines.
Custom strainers
Special screens, sizes and materials to your specification.

Y type strainer manufacturer, supplier & exporter
Y type strainers are the most requested strainer in the range. They are compact, cost-effective and available with a wide range of flanged, welded and threaded connections, high-temperature options and easy mounting. Axegic manufactures Y type strainers in Ahmedabad, supplies them across India and exports them to overseas customers.
Basket type strainer supplier & exporter
Where flow rates are high or the media carries a lot of debris, a basket type strainer’s larger screen area means longer intervals between cleaning and lower pressure drop. Basket strainers are supplied to process, water and oil service in India and abroad.
